A Kingswood Village cabin, up the hill from Kings Beach, with a genuinely good Tahoe frame: exposed beams, tongue-and-groove ceilings, a stone hearth, all buried under decades of dated finishes.
The renovation leaned into the timber instead of hiding it. Beams and rafters were stained near-black against white walls, and the floors went to warm wide-plank luxury vinyl that carries the whole house: wood to the eye and hand, but water and scratch resistant for skis and snow.
The kitchen was rebuilt in black cabinetry around a quartz island. The bathrooms went moody: stone, textured porcelain tile, backlit mirrors, vessel sinks. Then the whole house was furnished and made guest-ready.
